Market Orders

Market orders execute immediately at the current market price, giving you instant entry or exit.

Buy

1. Select the wallet you want to use for the trade.

2. Make sure the Buy tab is highlighted.

3. Select Market as the order type.

4. Enter the amount of SOL you want to spend in the Total field. You can also use the quick-select buttons (0.1, 0.2, 0.5, or 1 SOL) for faster input.

5. Optionally configure Take Profit / Stop Loss (exit strategies).

6. Review the gas fees and estimated tokens received.

7. Click the green confirmation button to execute the buy.

Example: This action will buy approximately 148.54 billion tokens for 0.2 SOL at the market price, completing the transaction immediately based on available liquidity.

Sell

1. Select the correct wallet.

2. Make sure the Sell tab is highlighted.

3. Select Market as the order type.

4. Specify the token quantity in the Amount field. Quick-select percentage buttons (25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%) enable rapid portfolio adjustments.

5. Review gas fees and estimated SOL received.

6. Click the red confirmation button to execute the sell.

Example: This action will sell 1,000,000 tokens for approximately 0.5 SOL at the market price, completing the transaction immediately based on available liquidity.

Instant Trade

Soda also offers an Instant Trade popup directly on the chart view, enabling one-click buy and sell actions for maximum speed.

Hotkeys

Enable hotkeys for keyboard-driven trading. Press Spacebar + the assigned hotkey to execute actions like buying a set SOL amount or selling a set percentage — all without touching the mouse.

Activate hotkeys via the hotkey button on the interface before use.
