At Soda, we strike the perfect balance between strong security and a smooth trading experience.

Non-Custodial Wallets

Soda wallets are fully non-custodial, secured by Turnkey's scalable infrastructure for managing private keys on Solana. With air-gapped architecture, Turnkey ensures robust security and protection from vulnerabilities.

2FA + Private Key Encryption

Our app uses 2FA combined with private key encryption using a user-generated password. Your password isn't just for logging in — it plays a critical role in protecting your assets.

How It Works

  • Private Key Encryption: When you import a wallet with a private key, it's encrypted using the password you set. This encryption ensures that your private key is never stored in a way that Soda can access. Even if someone gains access to your account, they can't trade or move funds without your password.

  • Turnkey Infrastructure: We use Turnkey — a secure private key infrastructure developed by Coinbase's custody team — to manage keys safely and prevent unauthorized access. Private keys are managed in a way that keeps them secure and completely inaccessible to the Soda team.

Your Password = Your Second Layer of Defense

Your password acts as a custom 2FA specifically for your private keys. It's used to encrypt your private key access, ensuring that even if someone gains access to your account, they can't take any actions without it.

Knowing the password alone isn't enough either — it only works if you're also signed in.

Soda never stores or has access to your password. Your assets stay safe — even from us.
