Solana Fees
Soda lets you fully customize your gas settings on Solana to optimize for speed, security, and cost.
Priority Fee
Speed up your transactions.
The priority fee is an extra payment made to validators to increase the likelihood of faster confirmation, especially during periods of high network congestion or when trading high-volume tokens.
Prio: Enter the amount (in SOL) you're willing to pay for prioritization. Default:
0.001 SOL.
If network congestion is high, increasing your priority fee can help confirm transactions faster.
Bribe (Tip)
Incentivize faster processing.
A bribe is an additional incentive paid to validators to prioritize your transaction. This is optional but recommended for high-volume trades.
Default:
0.001 SOL
Slippage
Protect against price variations.
Slippage is the difference between the expected trade price and the actual executed price. Set the maximum slippage percentage you're willing to accept.
Example: Setting slippage to
3%means you'll accept up to a 3% price difference before the transaction is canceled.
MEV Protection
Maximize security against front-running.
Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) represents additional profits that validators can extract through transaction reordering (sandwiching). MEV Protection guards your trades against front-running attacks.
MEV Protection Modes
Off
No protection against MEV bots. Your trades are exposed to front-running.
Reduced
Transactions are submitted via Jito for enhanced efficiency, but rogue validators may still pose some MEV risk.
Secure
Maximum MEV protection. Transactions wait for a whitelisted validator, which may be slightly slower but offers the strongest protection.
We recommend using Secure mode whenever possible for the best protection.
Recommended Settings
Soda automatically calculates the recommended bribe and priority fee based on current network conditions. Use the Auto setting for optimal speed and security without manual tuning.
